Each year the denominational office publishes several reports intended to provide needed financial information to classis officers, ministers, church treasurers, and other interested parties. These include the following:

Reference should be made to the Denominational Ministry Shares, Offerings, and Other Financial Information document for information regarding year 2007 ministry share amounts recently approved by Synod 2006.
Organized churches are required to pay church assessments determined at an amount per professing member age 18 and older, or, if greater, the direct cost of their ¡°first or only¡± pastor¡¯s participation in the Ministers¡¯ Pension Plan. Pension costs associated with any additional ordained ministers employed by organized churches and for all ordained ministers in the employ of emerging churches are annually determined direct cost amounts.
The direct cost amounts in 2007 are $5,776.00 in the United States and $7,384.00 in Canada while the per-member amounts are $25.56 and $29.52, respectively. All pension-related amounts are billed quarterly.
